Bio

Achille [Akille] obtained the Certificate of Advanced Studies "Performance Jazz and Pop" at the Zurich University of the Arts. His musical career began at the age of ten as a classical drummer in the local youth brass band. At the same time, he took drum lessons in Domat/Ems (GR). He later performed as the drummer of the Chur cult band "Skafari" in Switzerland, Kenya and Brazil. After courses in wind orchestra and choir conducting, he led a wind orchestra for several years. This was followed by studio sessions in his own drum studio and with LauraAntonella. This extensive practice makes Achille a versatile and flexible musician: live performances on microphoned drums, arranging, accompanying (vocal) ensembles with acoustic drums and precision work in studio recordings are all part of his repertoire. He also teaches at the Zug drum school and at secondary school.
